The unemployment benefit claim must be submitted to the Institute within 12 months since the 1st of the month of first registration to the Unemployment Service Bureau. Those who file the claim beyond this deadline, will not be paid unemployment benefits for an earlier period than the 12 months preceding the day of submission of the claim to the National Insurance Institute.
