You are entitled to a survivors' pension as well as to a death grant, which is a one-time grant amounting to NIS 10,268 (as of Jan 01, 2025).
To be able to check your eligibility - you need to submit a claim for survivors' pension.
If your claim is denied due to arrears in insurance contributions - your eligibility for reasons of equity will be assessed.
Regarding a woman who failed to accrue a qualifying (insurance) period during her life - her husband will not be entitled to a survivors' pension.
However, if you have a child who meets the definition under the National Insurance - his eligibility for survivors' pension should be examined. To that end, a claim must be submitted.
In certain cases it is possible to continue receiving an increment for a child even after he or she turned 18.

A claim for survivors' pension must be submitted within 12 months since the day of the death.
If the claim is submitted later than 12 months since the day of death, the pension is paid retroactively for a period not exceeding 12 months.
