I am a 69-year-old employee receiving an old-age pension. On what income do I have to pay health insurance contributions?

An insured person who has reached retirement age, works as salaried or self-employed worker and is entitled to an old-age pension – must pay health insurance contributions on the pension only. To avoid deduction of health insurance contributions from your work income, you must provide your employer with a certificate of entitlement to an old-age pension.
