Are covered by survivors’ insurance: Israeli residentA person whose life is centered in Israel. Criteria for determining this include: Israel is your permanent place of residence, where your family resides, where your children go to school, your primary place of work, or where you are studying. age 18 and older.
For those not born in Israel – they will be covered by survivors' insurance if they first immigrated to Israel :
- Men: before age 62
- Women: age of immigration is determined according to birthdate, as specified in the table below:

A person who first immigrated to Israel after the age specified in the above table is not covered in survivors' insurance, but his widow and the orphans may be entitled to a special survivors' benefit.
