Assistance from a decision supporter

If you need economic, medical or personal assistance, you can be helped by a decision supporter.
A decision supporter is a person appointed to assist an individual having difficulties to make decisions.
The service is currently operated as a pilot program for insured people without family support, nor the economic capacity to afford a decision supporter.

Important information! The supporter only helps in decision making, and does not make any decision by him/herself. A supporter may be appointed as an alternative to guardianship.
