The disability pension is paid to a disabled person who is a resident of Israel staying abroad for the month of departure from Israel, and from the first month following the month of departure - for a further period of 3 months.
Pension payment in Israel will resume for a disability pension recipient from the first month in which he returned to Israel.
Payment of the pension abroad after the above mentioned period is possible under certain circumstances, such as if he or his spouse are employed by an Israeli employer abroad, or if he requires special medical treatment, or if he stays in a country with which Israel has signed a Social Security Convention containing a chapter on disability insurance: Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia,
Sweden, Switzerland,
the Czech Republic,
the Netherlands, the Slovac Republic and Uruguay.
