Initially, you will automatically receive the following payments:
Medical treatment benefit
- The benefit will be paid automatically to your bank account for the period from 7.10.23 until 30.5.24.
- Hostages who returned to work in the months of April and May or whose employers paid them a wage for these months - will not receive a medical treatment benefit, but an advance payment of NIS 2,755 each month, taken from the disability pension to which you are entitled.
- Hostages who returned and receive medical treatments, which prevent them to be at work - need to submit a claim for medical treatment benefit to let us examine the continuation of their rights to a benefit from January 2024 onwards.

Important information!
- Anyone who worked before the hostile action - and wants us to calculate the medical treatment benefit according to his income, should submit an application to his handling social worker.
- Anyone whose employer continued to pay him a salary during the period of captivity - and wants the benefit to be paid directly to the employer, shall fill out a manual claim for medical treatment benefit that includes an employer's demand for a refund, and we'll be able to examine the possibility of transferring the benefit to the employer.
The claim must be handed over to the handling rehabilitation worker.
Please note, in case of calculating the benefit according to income or paying of the benefit to the employer, the payments that a returned hostage receives will be deducted from the benefit:
disability payments as a victim of hostile actions, allowances from the National Insurance, under Nazis War Disabled Victims Law, under the Nazi Persecutions Disabled Victims Law, and pensions from IDF's permanent service or from civil service.
Monthly disability pension
You are entitled to a disability pension at a rate of 50% automatically since the day of recognition as released hostages.
Please note that those wishing to appear before a Medical Board to receive higher percentages of mental or physical disability - can contact the rehabilitation worker who follows them or submit a shortened claim on the website.

You will receive a monthly benefit or annual grant, depending on your age:
