You may be eligible for a one-time loan to replace an apartment.
Eligibility conditions
- The apartment you want to replace is your only apartment (no ownership of another apartment in full or in part).
- The new apartment is an accessible apartment (low floor or with elevator).
- The price of the new apartment is more expensive than the price of the existing apartment.
Loan amount
The amount of the loan depends on the medical condition as established in the Medical Boards, and ranges from NIS 294,777 to NIS 429,557.

How to receive the loan?
To receive the loan, the rehabilitation worker must be presented with a grant/loan application (Form Bell/590), an apartment sale contract and an apartment purchase contract with a receipt for the first installment (the contract should specify on which floor the apartment is located and whether there is an elevator in the building).
- When purchasing an apartment from family members, a caveat should be presented in the land registry or a certificate of registration of rights in the Israel Lands Authority.
- In case of an apartment under construction, the following documents must be added: a building permit, price quotes that allow to determine the cost of construction, an agreement or contract with the contractor on the execution of the construction and approval of a supervisor, engineer or architect on the completion of the framework construction.
