Pension rates


The monthly disability pension paid for a housewife is determined according to her established degree of incapacity to perform household functions:

Amounts of monthly pension

  • Full degree of incapacity (100% or 75%) - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 4,291 .
  • Partial degree of incapacity at 74% - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 2,925 .
  • Partial degree of incapacity at 65% - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 2,636 .
  • Partial degree of incapacity at 60% - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 2,476 .

Additional monthly pensions

An additional monthly pension is paid to you besides above mentioned amounts, if you were determined a full degree of incapacity, your medical disability is established at 40% at least, and you are not institutionalized.

The rate of the additional monthly pension is determined in accordance with the percentage of your established medical disability degree:

  • Medical disability between 40%-49% - increment amount is NIS 151 .
  • Medical disability between 40%-49% according to sections 32A(1), 33 or 91 - increment amount is NIS 350 .
  • Medical disability between 50%-79% - increment amount is NIS 350 .
  • Medical disability between 80% - increment amount is NIS 451 .

Increment for children

A disabled housewife is entitled to an increment for her children, but is not entitled to an increment for her husband.

The increment for children is paid for children who meet one of the following conditions:

  • They have not yet reach the age of 18
  • They are serving in military or national service, and are under 24 years old.
  • They meet the definition of child.

The rate of the increment for children is determined in accordance your established degree of incapacity:

  • Full degree of incapacity (100% or 75%) - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 1,106 .
  • Partial degree of incapacity at 74% - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 818 .
  • Partial degree of incapacity at 65% - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 719 .
  • Partial degree of incapacity at 60% - the monthly pension amounts to NIS 664 .

The increment for children is only paid for the first two children.

Impact of incomes not from work on pension rate

A disabled housewife who has income for a source other than work (such as retirement pension, rent, scholarship, other benefits from the NII or other entities, return on investments) and is entitled to an increment for her children – all amounts of her income not from work will deducted from the increment for children to which she is entitled.

In any event, the pension paid after the deduction will amount to a full monthly pension at least (NIS 4,291 ).
