The National Insurance Institute gathers data on benefit recipients, collection of insurance contributions, the incidence of poverty, and other indicators, for its own work and for the use of decision makers. These data serve the Executive Board of the Institute, government ministries, the Knesset, and academic staff, to help initiate legislation, develop socio-economic policy and make decisions.
