Dear students, discharged soldiers, people who ended their national service, or learning in Yeshiva and who are not working,
even if you don't have any income right now, you are subject to the obligation to pay national insurance and health insurance contributions!
If are not working, you the obligation to pay these contributions. In order to preserve your rights, pay on time and avoid to build-up debts.
Important information! Whether you go out on a trip or temporary stay abroad, you need to see to the payment of your contributions during that time. We advise you to set up a permanent payment order prior to your departure outside the country.
Who needs to pay?
Any Israeli resident from age 18 must pay each month national insurance and health insurance contributions (barring academic and Yeshiva students).
The payment varies according to your activity:
Who much pays a person who doesn't work?
Non-workers must pay insurance contributions at the minimum rate of NIS 203 per month.
Academic and Yeshiva students who are not working must pay NIS 145 per month.
How to pay?
You are able to pay insurance contributions in the following ways:
- Through the call center *6050
- Through the Personal Service site - register to the site, and make payments and various actions, fast and easily.
- Through the payment website - one can make payment according to the list of payments that is sent to you once a year on February.
- By contacting the branch of the National Insurance nearest your place of residence.
Payments can be made either by credit card or permanent order.
