In these difficult times implying growing volunteer activities, the National Insurance will relax the terms of registration and referral of volunteers for authorized bodies, volunteer coordinators of the Welfare Ministry and in municipalities.
Relaxations are as follows:
- You do not need to fill out a referral form to register a volunteer, and volunteer insurance will be valid from the prior registration, by the volunteers coordinator of the organization or municipality or Welfare Ministry. To ensure handling and insurance in case of injury, the registration must include: name, identity card number, volunteering starting date, cellphone number and type of volunteering. This way we will be able to rely on the organization's approval.
- Volunteer organizations that are currently recognized will be able to operate, too, pensioners of the organization, for the organization needs to help staff with handling objectives implying a national and public interest.
