How to submit the claim


The claim for the grant can be submitted, with all required documents, online via the website.

Documents to be submitted to the claim

  • Photocopy of certificate of discharge from the IDF or another document from the army showing the date of completion of compulsory service
    Those who completed national service or national-civil service - a certificate of the period of volunteer national service from one of the entities authorized to provide it, or a certificate from the National-Service Authority about the duration of the service.
  • Certificates by the employers regarding the type of work that was performed, as well as the location and period of the work, noting the number of work days in each one of the months worked (effective working days must be mentioned). Important! Days of leave, holidays, reserve service and prior notice do not count as working days), as well as the average number of hours per day.
  • If you began working in a vital work after 12 months elapsed from the date of your discharge from compulsory service - you must provide photocopies of all your pay slips at every job in which you worked during the year and a half before the start of the vital / preferred job.
  • Those discharged from compulsory service and those who completed 24 months of national service or national-civil service in the period between 1.1.2020 and 31.12.2020 and began working in a vital work after 24 months elapsed since the day of discharge - photocopies of all your pay slips at every job in which you worked during the year and a half before the start of the vital / preferred job.

When to submit the claim

A claim for the grant can be submitted after you have completed at least six months of vital work, and no later than 42 months after completion of the six months of work.

Those discharged from IDF, national service or national-civil service in the period from 1.1.2019 to 31.12.2020 - can submit a grant claim after they stopped working in a vital work 6 full working months at least, and not later than 54 months since the day of discharge.

If you submit the claim after that date, you may lose your right to receive the grant.
