Adoption in Israel – certification
from the Child Welfare Services, including the child's date of birth
and the temporary identity number given to him, as well as the date of
adoption.
Adoption abroad – a notary's authorization and a photocopy of the child's passport, including the date of the child's arrival in Israel.
You should submit the claim for a child allowance within 12
months of the date of child's reception for adoption or arrival in Israel. The claim may be submitted
later, but retroactive payment will be received only for the 12 months preceding the submission of the claim.
