Persons with a special disability degree of 100% who suffer from paraplegia and quadriplegia and are wheelchair bound and forced to have a lift installed at their home (or have purchased a home with a lift installed) – are entitled to a contribution in the amount of 75% of the annual lift insurance (but not more than NIS 5000 a year). The lift is installed in coordination with the rehabilitation official at the local NII branch. To realise the benefit please contact the attending local NII branch and present a tax invoice and a receipt.
