Persons with a disability degree of at least 50%, with types of injuries listed below and according to their disability degree, may be entitled to an annual grant for purposes of heating their home. The entitlement is determined partly according to where they live (a cold area) and partly according to their disability degree and type of injury. A person with a chronic disability who is hospitalized is not entitled to the heating grant.
Any one of the following is entitled to the annual heating grant:

A person with a special 100% disability degree, with any kind of injury;

A person with a hand or leg injury, and with a 50% degree at least in every limb separately

A person with a 80%-99% disability degree for a spine or back injury, or burn;

A person with a 50% disability degree for a heart impairment;

A person with a disability degree of 50% or more for epilepsy or a hemiplegic disabled.

A person with a 100% or more disability degree for quadriplegia.
Disabled persons living in Jerusalem or the Galilee who have a disability degree as specified in items 1, 2, 4 or 6 above, are entitled to an increment to their heating grant.
