Disabled persons whose injury has been recognised as severe using the tests specified in the regulations are entitled to special medical equipment. Severe injuries include, among others: arm and leg amputations (one or both); extensive burns of 80% and above; head injuries with a disability level of 100% etc. Equipment for each such group is approved both according to the group and for each person individually. To realise the entitlement please contact the rehabilitation department at your local attending local NII branch.
