A child both of whose parents abandoned him/her in Israel, or a child one of whose parents abandoned him/her and the other parent has passed away or does not live with him/her and does not support him/her or lives abroad permanently, or is of unknown identity.

A married couple, or a man and woman living together as a common-law-couple.
- determining sum (81)
This sum determines your eligibility for the benefit. If your income or your spouse's income from a wage, pension or from benefits in lieu of wage is lower than the determing sum, you will be eligible for the benefit, on the condition that you meet the other criteria for eligibility.

A widow/widower, divorced person or single person who has custody of a child/children (as defined in “General Definitions”)living with him and he does not live with a common-law spouse.
- situation of entitlement (77)
A situation of intitling a person to income support benefit, under the conditions defined in the law.
