A family who did Aliyah
Parents who did Aliyah with children, are entitled to child allowance for their children, from the day of their Aliyah. Allowance is paid automatically, based on information provided to us from the Minister of Integration, without having to submit a claim for child allowance.
Beyond two months after the day of your Aliyah, if you have not received the allowance yet, you have to submit a personal claim at your local NII branch.
A family who has immigrated and obtained Oleh status at a later date than the day of its actual arrival in the country, will be entitled to an allowance for its child since the day of arrival, provided they were recognized as residents by the National Insurance Institute, as of the day of their arrival.
To receive the allowance, a personal claim must be submitted at the local NII branch nearest your place of residence.
Child immigrating without parents
A child who immigrates without his parents, will be entitled to a child allowance since the day of Aliyah. To receive the allowance, a child immigrating without parents must fill-out and submit a form to a local NII branch.
Detailed information is available under children section.
