According to the legislation passed by the Knesset, the provident fund of a self-employed worker taken hostage, needs to continue set aside on his behalf the retirement and compensation payments, to avoid any prejudice to his social rights.
The National Insurance will pay the provident fund a refund for these payments, for the period from 7.10.23 until the return of the hostage or, God forbid, until being identified as a casualty.
How to receive a refund?
One must complete a refund request + a money transfer request, and send them along with required documents by email at gemel-hatufim@nioi.gov.il
To the requests must be attached a bank account certificate.
