​Your rights with the National Insurance

The National Insurance will contact the festival victims, whose details have been sent to us, by the producers of the festivals, caregivers, medical institutions or through Zoom meetings we have organized with them, to be able to provide them the special rights to which they are entitled.

A person who hasn't been contacted - can call the dedicated call center we have opened for you - 02-6269999.
The call center if opened from Sunday to Thursday between 8:00 and 17:00.

In the call center you will receive immediate response and assistance with the rights due to you, as well as with completing the recognition request form.

Programs of rehabilitation and resilience support in the framework of the "Yovalim" project

In order to help you resuming a normal life, we have launched the "Yovalim" project - a joint initiative between the National Insurance Funds, Ministry of Welfare and Joint Eshelim, which offers you a range of programs of rehabilitation and resilience support.

The programs are specially designed for festival participants and youth of the South, and are operated by leading associations and organizations in the field.

Participation is either free of charge or available for a symbolic fee.

Please note that being know by welfare services or receiving a benefit from the National Insurance are not requirements to take part in a program.

First money compensation

The National Insurance will pay the victims a first compensation - a grant as well as a benefit during medical treatment in the first months.

Please note, the benefits will be paid to you automatically, to your bank account appearing in our records and there is no need to submit a claim.

Mental health assistance and anxiety care

  • The National Insurance is funding the treatments of anxiety victims, provided by psychologists and social workers specializing in trauma care.
  • The treatments are provided in resilience centers and care clinics to anxiety victims, free of charge and without needing to contact the National Insurance. 
  • Considering the security situation, it is also possible to receive treatments online through Zoom.

We advise you approach resilience centers to receive care, moreover, it is important to obtain the treatment summary. This will help you in the future to take-up your rights.

Receiving a benefit for medical care or a disability pension

We have shortened the procedure for you, and created specially for you a short online form to receive a hostile actions casualties allowance, to which must be attached medical documents and/or the report of the therapist of the resiliency centers and a patient questionnaire. The form is adapted and will guide you on the allowance to which you are entitled, depending on you situation.

Rights of reservists

Those deployed in reserve service are entitled to receive a benefit for the days of service.

Rights of victims who attended the festivals as part of their job

Anyone who worked in the festivals and was wounded - can submit a request to be recognized as victim of a work-injury in parallel with the recognition request as hostile actions casualties.

However, one cannot receive both benefits simultaneously, and when eligible - you can choose the most rewarding allowance and benefits between the two of them - in other words, the higher allowance between them.

Please note, the planning meeting for the Midburn organizing team held on 7.10 has been recognized as a hostile action event, and meeting participants are recognized as victims of hostile actions entitled to benefits in the same fashion as victims of the Nova and Psyduck festivals.
