An organization grant will be paid to residents of the north who did not file a claim for property tax with the Tax Authority, due to damage to household items resulting from their extended stay away from home during the war. For example: broken electrical appliances, mold in the house, and more.
To receive the grant, one must be submit an online claim on this link.
Who is eligible for the grant?
You will be eligible for the grant if you meet all of the following conditions:
- You are a resident of Israel.
- You received an occupancy grant/adaptation grant or stayed in a state-funded place of accommodation - at least one day in the month of 12/24 or 2/25.
- You and your partner did not file a claim with the Tax Authority for compensation for household property damage, and you also declared waiving a property tax claim proceeding - the Tax Authority (red track based on assessment).
Please note,
- Even those who are currently staying in a state-funded place of accommodation can receive this grant.
- In the grant claim form, you will be asked to fill out a declaration of affiliation with the evacuated settlement, and if you rented an apartment in the evacuated settlement - you will need to attach a lease contract valid as of the date of submission.
Grant amount
The grant is a one-time grant, and its amount is determined according to the composition of the family:
- For an adult (over 18 on the date of claim submission) - 10,000 NIS
- For a child (up to 18 on the date of claim submission) - 5,000 NIS.
Payment method
- For those who receive child allowance - the grant for them and the children will be paid to the bank account on which child allowance is transferred.
- For those who do not receive a child allowance – you can update your bank account details to receive the grant on this link.
If no account is updated – the grant will be paid to the bank account updated in the National Insurance systems.
What do you need to do to receive the grant?
You must fill out a grant claim form online on the website.
- For a child – the parent who receives the child allowance will fill out the declaration form.
- Those who have a guardian or those for whom a child allowance recipient has been appointed and it is impossible to fill out a declaration form for the grant on their behalf - they need to call the special hotline at 02-5393773 to complete a telephone declaration.
