​Advantages on maternity allowance due to the war

  • Pregnant woman whose employer reduced her working time due to the war resulting in a decrease in her salary - we will try to take that into consideration in the calculation of maternity allowance and supplement her salary up to the level of her normal salary or calculate maternity allowance based on the months of full salary.
  • Pregnant woman whose employer put her on unpaid leave due to the war - we will calculate maternity allowance based on the months preceding the unpaid leave.
  • Woman who performed reserve service during here pregnancy - the months of reserve service will be accounted for as qualifying period in the examination of her eligibility for maternity allowance, even if she stopped her work before becoming pregnant.
    In other words, regarding a woman who either failed to accrued any qualifying period or accrued a partial qualifying period through her work - we will check the number of months she served as reservist, and based on these months we will assess here eligibility for a full or partial maternity allowance. The amount of the maternity allowance is calculated upon her work salary and/or the reserve service benefits paid to her.

For a pregnant woman whose employer reduced her working time because of the war and who consequently received a lower salary - we will complete her salary up to her regular compensation or calculate the benefit based on the months on which she received a full salary.
