The entitlement for reasons of equity is a benefit paid when claims were denied insofar as they were submitted by insured people who failed to pay national insurance contributions as required by law, or who were not registered as self-employed workers.
The heirs of a self-employed worker, whose claim for a survivors’ pension or a benefit to dependents of work-injury victims has been rejected due to non-payment of insurance contributions by the deceased.
The benefits subject to the rules of entitlement for reasons of equity are: pregnancy bed rest, maternity allowance (hospitalization grant, birth grant and maternity allowance), old age and survivors, work injury, accident injury and general disability.
