Conditions of attribution

Parents of a disabled child who died after January 1, 2018 may be entitled to vocational rehabilitation provided that they meet the following conditions:

• According to the opinion of the reintegration officer, they have the capacity to follow vocational training taking into account the level of education, their state of health and their physical capacity.
• They do not have a trade or cannot earn a living by their trade.
• They are not entitled to vocational training under other laws.
• The rehabilitation worker has established that they need retraining because of the death of their disabled child.
