Conditions of entitlement to a 2,000 cc car for a person with 100% restriction of mobility

​A person with a 100% rate of limited mobility, will be entitled to a car with a 2,000 cc engine, if he meets the following requirements:

• He or she has a valid driver's license.
• A medical committee or medical committee of appeals established that is permanently confined to a wheelchair or only able to walk with orthopedic devices installed on both his legs.
• He or she has been a earnerA person whose income from work is more than 25% of the basic amount - NIS 2,585 (as of Jan 01, 2024) ,as well as a soldier in compulsory army service. with limited mobility for 21 consecutive months, out of 24 months preceding the day the claim was submitted.
• He or she is not disabled An insured, excluding a housewife, who as a result of impairment, fulfills both the following conditions: a) He is unable to support himself from work or occupation, and his capacity to support himself as above has been reduced as a result of his impairment (all at once or gradually) by 50% or more. b) He has no actual income form work or occupation, or his such income is not over the following: 1. regarding persons entitled to disability pension for a lengthy period or having a serious impairment – 60% of the average wage; 2. regarding persons not entitled to disability pension for a lengthy period and not having a serious impairment – 45% of the average wage. as defined under Disability Insurance Law.
• He or she did not receive a loan from the Loans Fund, or 5 years or more have passed since the day the loan was granted.
