The family of a victim of hostile actions is entitled to grant for the maintenance of the burial place and gravestone.
The grant is paid once every 5 years. Grant amount: NIS 4,179 (as of January 2024)
Who is entitled to burial costs coverage grant?
The grant is paid to the family members of the victim, without having to provide receipts, in this order of priority:
1. Victim's spouse (widow, widower or common-law spouse)
2. Absent a spouse - his child
3. Absent a spouse and child - his father or mother
4. Absent a spouse, child and parents - any other relative who bore the costs, based on receipts, up to the maximum amount determined.
