People disabled by a hostile action for whom the medical committee set a permanent disability of 10%-19% are entitled to a lump-sum disability grant. The grant is paid after the deadline for appealing the decision of the medical committee. If an appeal is submitted, the grant or benefit is paid after the disability percentage is recalculated.

Deduction of the lump-sum grant due to change in degree of disability
If a degree of disability of 19% or less was established, and a lump sum grant was paid but, at a later date, due to worsening of the medical condition connected with the hostile-action injury, the percentage of disability was raised to 20% or more, the grant will be deducted from the monthly benefit to be paid from the date the new disability ranking goes into effect.
