Benefit rate for a salaried or a self-employed worker
If on the date of the accident, you were salaried or a self-employed worker, you will be entitled to a payment amounting to 75% of your salary, in accordance with the maximum period of entitlement.
Benefit's method of calculation
The daily amount of accident benefit is calculated as follows: 75% of your salary in the three full months preceding the date of the accident, divided by 90.
The maximum daily accident allowance is: NIS 1,241.25 .
For your information, accident benefit rate is similar to that of the benefit paid to victims of work injury.
Benefit rate for those who do not work
If at the time of the accident, you were neither a salaried nor a self-employed worker, you will be entitled to a payment amounting to NIS 82.75 per day, in accordance with the maximum period of entitlement.
