- From the beginning of October to present day, 177,129 claimants of unemployment benefits reached the National Insurance. 127,316 of them were put on unpaid leave involuntarily.
- Since the beginning of the war on 7.10, 175,521 claimants of unemployment benefits reached the National Insurance, as 127,264 of them were put on unpaid leave involuntarily.
- Since the beginning of December, 14,341 claimants of unemployment benefits reached the National Insurance, as 9,742 of them were put on unpaid leave involuntarily.
Breakdown of unemployment benefit claimants from the National Insurance:
- 59% aged 20-40
- 39% aged 41-67
- There are about 1,020 claims from people aged 67 and older.
- According to National Insurance data, 25,362 insured persons who had an "active claim" returned to work since the month of October.
Validity of reliefs in unpaid leave
As mentioned, the reliefs in unpaid leave were valid until the end of November. The payment for the month of November will be sent tomorrow, 12.12.23.
The National Insurance underlines - so far, a law providing the extension of these reliefs has not been enacted yet. Such a law would allow the National Insurance to act pursuant to approved reliefs and develop relevant digital systems for the benefit of thousands of citizens according to the enacted law.
