The National Insurance Institute provides various benefits to people with lower body impairments that limit their mobility.
A new Oleh with limited mobility may be entitled to mobility benefits as of the day of his Aliyah.
Mobility impairment is established by a Medical Committee of the Minister of Health. Therefore, before submitting to the NII a claim for mobility benefits, you must previously file a request to be examined by the Committee of the Minister Health.

The Committee establishes the existence of a lower body impairment according to a list of defined impairments, of a need for a wheelchair and its actual use, and whether one particular impairment may evolve or is permanently established.
