A disability card gives eligible people advantages and discounts at a variety of entities, for example discounts on public transportation, tickets to sites and museums and more. The card also grants a waiting line exemption and payment exemption for the person accompanying one of these insured people:
People entitled to both waiting line and escort payment exemptions
- Adults who have been determined a 50% medical disability, at least, due to intellectual or mental disabilities, or who are on the autism spectrum.
- Children over the age of 8 who are entitled to a disabled child allowance.
People entitled to waiting line exemption only
- Adults who have been determined a 40% medical disability, at least, due to intellectual or mental disabilities, or who are on the autism spectrum.
- Children under the age of 8 who are entitled to a disabled child allowance.
