Health Ministry's rehabilitation basket services are provided in accordance with the Rehabilitation of the Mentally Disabled in the Community Law, and their purpose is to help people with mental disabilities to integrate into the community and rehabilitation processes.
The areas of rehabilitation included in the basket are aligned with the main aspects of a person's life: employment, housing, education, leisure and society, and family support services.
Who is eligible for a rehabilitation basket from the Ministry of Health?
If you have been determined by the National Insurance a mental disability of 40% or above, and are interested in receiving services from the rehabilitation basket – you must contact the Rehabilitation Basket Committee, which is holds its hearings in health maintenance organizations (HMOs), clinics and mental health hospitals.
The committee will hold a joint discussion regarding the initial rehabilitation plan.
