Employees

An employee is one who meets both the following conditions:

There is an employee-employer relationship between him and his employer.

 

He meets all the conditions determined in the order of classification of workers and employers.

 

An employee may be entitled to benefits as a substitute for his wages for limited periods, to benefits that supplement his wages, or to benefits that assist him in his ongoing work. The right to most benefits is derived from his payment of national insurance contributions.
